Pattern Keeper is supported on Android devices running Android version 4.1 or later and has the Google Play Store installed. However, it performs more smoothly on newer devices. If buying a new device to run Pattern Keeper on then it is recommended to get at least 2GB RAM.
If possible also avoid Android 8.1 as that version of Android is known to be a bit unstable.
There is no requirement for screen size and you can run it for example on a phone. Some people prefer the bigger screens though as you can see more of the chart as once.
Yes. To make sure you don’t have to pay twice make sure that all your devices use the same Google Play account.
Please note that Pattern Keeper doesn’t have automatic sync. To transfer your progress you have to export it from one device and then import it on the other.
There is no desktop version of Pattern Keeper but you can run it on a computer using an Android emulator.
Download Bluestacks or Nox:
bluestacks.com
bignox.com
Install it, run it and then install Pattern Keeper just like you would on an Android device.
Buy
Pattern Keeper is bought inside the app. Once you initial free trial runs out the app will prompt you to buy it.
Pattern Keeper costs around 9 US dollars. The exact amount is dependent on exchange rates and local tax law. This is a one time charge to keep using Pattern Keeper with all existing features forever.
When your trial period is over you can no longer open your charts but all of your data is still kept safe. You can still view your list of charts, export your progress and import charts. The only restricted part is the detailed chart view.
No, the trial version of Pattern Keeper is fully featured. This means that you can try everything before deciding to buy.

Of course! We love to hear your ideas and feedback, whether it is a small tweak in the interface, a new feature, or a whole new app.

If it is a pattern from a supported designer then you can contact us and hopefully we can help.
If it is an unsupported designer there is very little we can do, I’m afraid. Copyright law prevents us from looking at charts without the designers blessing. The best you can do is tell the designer that you as a customer would like if their charts were compatible.
For some common mishaps that you actually can fix during import please check out our Youtube import tutorials.
Not yet. Pattern Keeper currently only supports full cross stitches but backstitch and fractional stitches are on the wish list.

Troubleshoot
Swipe down from the top of the screen and click the on screen back button.
This is due to a too-small resolution resulting in a part of the screen not being visible. It’s a bug that will be fixed for the next version but in the meantime, the workaround is to change the resolution.
Change resolution
Try restoring the purchase if that doesn’t work it might be because your Play Store accounts are not correctly configured.
